Houston, Texas – July 31, 2026 — The Indonesian American Chamber of Commerce (IACC), in collaboration with the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia in Houston, Indonesia Investment Promotion Center (IIPC) New York and Indonesian Trade Promotion Center (ITPC) Los Angeles, successfully hosted “Explore Indonesia: Where Business Opportunity Meets Global Market” on July 31, 2026, at the Indonesian Consulate in Houston.
The event brought together representatives from chambers of commerce, business leaders, entrepreneurs, and investors from across the Houston area to strengthen business relationships and explore new opportunities for trade and investment between Indonesia and the United States.
Guests enjoyed a networking reception featuring authentic Indonesian cuisine and traditional snacks, providing an opportunity to connect and exchange ideas before the program began.
The event opened with welcoming remarks from Mr. Donny Agustiadi, representing IACC, and Mrs. Ourina Ritonga, Consul General of the Republic of Indonesia in Houston. Both speakers highlighted the importance of strengthening economic ties and expanding business partnerships between Indonesia and the United States.
The program featured presentations by Dr. Kumara Jati, S.Sos., M.S., Director of ITPC-LA, and Mr. Tessal Maharizky Febria, Director of IIPC New York. Speaking under the theme “Explore Indonesia: Where Business Opportunity Meets Global Market,” they shared insights into Indonesia’s growing economy, business opportunities, and investment potential. They also introduced Trade Expo Indonesia 2026, which will be held in Jakarta this October, and encouraged businesses to explore new partnerships through the event.
The presentations were followed by an interactive Q&A session, giving attendees the opportunity to learn more about doing business in Indonesia and discuss potential areas for collaboration.
The evening concluded with continued networking, allowing participants to build new connections and explore future business opportunities.
