IACC had the honor of participating in the Asian Chamber of Commerce’s special luncheon celebrating Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Heritage Month, held on May 2, 2025, at Ocean Palace Restaurant. The event kicked off with a vibrant networking session, followed by a warm welcome from Paul Gor, Director of Community Development at ACC.
The highlight of the event was a heartfelt and inspiring session with guest speaker Hudson Yang, known for his role on Fresh Off the Boat, joined by his father, Jeff Yang. Together, they shared personal stories of identity, representation, and their continued commitment to uplifting Asian American culture. Through their media work, writing, and culinary storytelling—such as Crash Course Cuisine—they are helping to broaden understanding and appreciation of Asian American experiences in mainstream platforms.
It was a very eventful and meaningful afternoon. We had a strong showing with 9 IACC members and board representatives in attendance.
